STORIES THAT MOVE.

Travel is sacred truly sacred to me. My parents met at Alitalia and I was flying solo well before I could drive. It has truly defined me not just as a creative, but as a person, and taught me what it means to really connect with those around me. That’s why it is never about the destination, it is always a perspective, an impulse, or a vibe that my travel work is born from, because no one needs to be told where to go, all they need is a reason not to stay where they are.

As Editor at Large for Get Lost Magazine for a decade I’ve been exploring the world and telling the stories less heard has always been a basis of inspiration for me. These stories both in print and moving image have won dozen of awards and most importantly inspired many to seek their own adventure. You can follow these adventures over at my award winning TravelClast YouTube Channel or at Get Lost Magazine.

What I love about the films I produce is how personal they are to me. They have a voice that can only come from someone that has truly been affected by the destination in a profound and intrinsic way.

A unique look at the oldest restaurant in the world, Sobrino de Botin, which has not only won multiple film festival awards but has been seen by millions helping keep the legacy alive.

Commissioned by the Gold Hotel in Bordighera, this film has brought a surge of interest to the area, resulting in an large increase in tourism, not just for the town, but the hotel as well.

WORDS THAT INSPIRE.

Travel Writing was never considered an occupation for me but more an expression of communication and how I connect with all the places I experience. I have been honored by many travel awards and opportunities, and think it is an art form that transcends place, allowing intrepid readers to travel without ever leaving the page.

IMAGES THAT INTOXICATE.

Photography was my first love, given to me from my grandfather who was a recon photog in the WWII. I fell in love with the way image appeared in the darkroom and the power a sliver of time could have over someone. Either celluloid, digital or at 24 a second, image to me is at the heart of all my storytelling; capturing the right moment to instantly transcend someone’s reality.
